Advertising Agency Monks is well known around the world for having an amazing workplace and culture.
Recently, the team were relocating to their spacious new office in Barangaroo, Sydney. Monks needed an experienced audio visual partner to manage all aspects of the relocation and office fit-out providing exciting new technology to meet the needs of the business.
As part of our ongoing partnership, Sound with Vision had the privilege of working alongside Facilitate on this project.
Our Work
Spanning two locations and the complete fit-out of an entire floor, Monks, who are known for their innovative thinking, required cutting-edge equipment to turn their creativity into reality.
A Seamless Relocation & Fit-out
As well as the move from the old location to the new, the Sound with Vision team specified and installed a range of upgraded technology to help the agency maintain their technological edge.
A lot can go wrong when moving audio visual equipment. So, for the Monks office move, special care was taken when the tech equipment was decommissioned, packed, transported, stored to then be reinstalled at the new agency location.
The Sound with Vision team of technicians and removalists worked together to ensure everything went smoothly and according to plan. Sound with Vision was thrilled to collaborate with the design teams to add our input into the furniture and electrical layouts to get everything set up, connected and working perfectly for day one in the new office.

The Monks Audio Visual Fit-Out
The audio visual installation included:
Small, Medium and Large meeting rooms: Fully integrated with their existing equipment as well as necessary upgrades for new Logitech gear and LG screens.
Pod / Huddle Rooms: Creativity requires collaboration, so we supplied new LG screens and cabling for a simple connection to facilitate bring your own device huddle spaces.
Boardroom: A cutting-edge solution for their strategic meetings, featuring a new Logitech video conferencing bundle, updated signal routing equipment with an audio mixer and new LG screens. All components were perfectly integrated with Logitech gear to create a fully cohesive and modern meeting room.
Social Node with Jamboards: This collaborative space to connect and support creative ideation needed new audio equipment (Shure and Sonos), new large screens, and QSC and Lab Gruppen equipment.
Office Sound System: A new SONOS system to match the existing speakers.
Workstations: 240 workstations ready to use, with brand new LG monitors, headsets, monitor arms, keyboards and new docks.
A Long-Lasting Partnership Around Australia
After this successful project, Sound with Vision was asked to take care of Monks’ audio visual systems on an ongoing basis. Monks and Sound with Vision worked together to upgrade all of their spaces as they grow, including both the Sydney and Melbourne offices.
