Endorsed by the government, this TAFE Institute required a refurbishment and fitout project. Sound with Vision was thrilled to collaborate with our long-standing partner, Renascent, on this exciting endeavour.

A Recipe for Interactive Learning at William Angliss Institute

As a leading vocational training centre, the William Angliss Institute required an audio visual environment for its Alexandria campus that was as advanced and interactive as its curriculum. The challenge was to deliver cutting-edge technology that felt intuitive and easy to use across a multitude of specialised spaces, from commercial kitchens to collaborative learning hubs. The Sound with Vision solution centred on a state-of-the-art wireless presentation system, seamlessly integrated with interactive touch displays.

The "Cooking Show" Classroom

The heart of this technological transformation lies within the purpose-built hospitality training facilities. In the Training Kitchen, Study Kitchenette, Bar, and Dining Areas, Sound with Vision created a dynamic, television-style learning experience. The integration of wireless presenters, 55-inch multitouch displays, and professional PTZ cameras allows instructors to demonstrate techniques from any station, providing students with an immersive, multi-angle perspective typically seen on a professional cooking show. This same powerful technology was deployed in the larger “Super Kitchens” and gathering areas, utilising interactive displays up to 65 inches.

A Unified Campus Experience

This commitment to interactive learning was carried through to the six dedicated Learning Spaces and the Student Computer Hub. Each area was equipped with a wireless presentation system and 65-inch interactive touch displays, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience for students and staff across the entire campus.

Intelligent Campus-Wide Audio

Unifying the atmosphere is a sophisticated background music system that services all spaces. Going beyond standard audio, this system was deeply integrated with the Institute’s IT infrastructure. This provides the capability for packet-level network reporting on all audio content, a critical technical requirement that meets the advanced management and compliance standards of a modern educational facility.
